My Story

When I was a child, I repeatedly heard the phrase “kindness doesn’t put food on your table” and I didn’t listen. I sought out jobs that felt meaningful, where I could influence people and their future, and I was drawn in.

I was available 24/7, at home or on vacation. I was there if anyone I worked with needed me, and the feedback was terrific. The children I worked with excelled, and I even got to see the fruits of my labor years later.

And then I had a stroke (literally)!

How could this be? I love my job so much, I feel most meaningful in it, I’m appreciated, I’m doing what I love – what happened? How did I reach a state where I’m so disconnected from my body?

I realized that I couldn’t be the only one experiencing this in a world of meaning. I researched the topic, and the deeper I delved, the more I understood that there’s something very strange happening in meaningful jobs. The role becomes your entire being, and slowly you forget yourself – what you need as a person to succeed, to be at your best, to ensure that you’re managing this resource that is you – correctly!

And so my Superpower Workshop was born!

A place where people learn to bring their authentic selves to their role, transforming their team into their strongest support system, not just for the beneficiaries but also for themselves. To recruit them to identify warning signs and ensure that they take care of themselves , and act from a place of abundance rather than scarcity.

Why should we be partners?

The workshop’s objectives are shaped by the collective needs of the team, recognizing that just as each individual is unique, the team itself functions as a unique entity. Throughout the workshop, we make ongoing adjustments to align the content with the team’s culture. We conduct assessments at the beginning, middle, and end of the workshop to ensure the material is effectively tailored to both the team and its individual members, meeting the goals set by each.

Trust is cultivated between myself and the manager, as well as among team members, during the workshop. This relationship is strengthened by pre- and post-session meetings between the manager and myself to process the outcomes and translate insights into actionable steps. Additionally, I hold three one-on-one conversations with each participant during the workshop to further reinforce personal connections.

The workshop content is delivered through playful and diverse learning methods, ensuring that all participants can engage with and absorb the material in ways that resonate with them.

My approach is grounded in order, organization, and clear boundaries, which foster trust. My professionalism is demonstrated through my attentiveness and flexibility, allowing us to collaboratively achieve the goals we set out to accomplish.
